The Residenza Moira is situated on a hillside with a wonderful view of the lake and over the Brissago Islands to Ascona. The village centre with its shops, post office, bank, restaurants and cafés can be reached in about 10 minutes by foot, as well as the bus stop and boat landing stage from where you have connections to the Brissago Islands, Ascona, Locarno and the Riviera del Gambarogno opposite. The Lido of Brissago can also be reached in a few minutes on foot. The lido with lake access, swimming pool, water slide and restaurant is well maintained and family friendly. The water slide with 75 meters length is the longest of the whole Ticino. A visit to this beautiful lido is worthwhile. The neighbouring border town of Cannobio, where the famous Mercato is held on Sundays, is only a few kilometres away. The Valle Maggia, the Valle Verzasca or the Centovalli in Ticino can also be easily reached by car from here.
