From Orselina you can either walk up a staircase to the lakeside in Locarno or take the funicular "Funicolare" in about 15 minutes to the center of Locarno. The bus stop is also within a few minutes. In Orselina there is a small shop for daily needs. The numerous restaurants, cafes and grottos in Orselina and Locarno offer a wide range of culinary delights. The wonderful Parco di Orselina, with its magnificent amphitheater, hosts many cultural and culinary events every year.
