The spacious 4.5 room vacation home is suitable for 4 people. In the entrance area you will find the winter garden with large windows, which is furnished as a dining room. The other rooms are distributed over several mezzanines. One level up is the spacious, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, exit to the covered seating area with dining table and barbecue, as well as the living room, which has a sofa set (sofa bed), comfortable armchairs, a fireplace and a flat screen TV.
Further you reach the bathroom with a bubble bath and sink and a separate toilet with sink. On the top floor you will find the bedrooms. One of them with a French double bed, large built-in wardrobe and desk, the other with a bunk bed dedicated to children. If there are four adults, the sofa bed in the living room can be used.
Outside, stairs lead to the swimming pool, a seating area with lounge set and parasol and a romantic stone table in the shade. Due to the many stairs and the terraces on different levels, the house is not suitable for small children. A parking lot is available. From there you can reach the house via a path in about 2 minutes walk.
The vacation house is located on a hillside in the village of Cavigliano, in the unique landscape of the Centovall valley. Shopping facilities for daily use can be found in Verscio. In Cavigliano there is also the village store Crai and a pharmacy, all within walking distance. Likewise, the Peri bakery in Verscio is within 600 m walking distance. In the villages of Intragna, Verscio, Ponte Brolla and in Cavigliano many nice restaurants and grotti invite you to enjoy. In about 10 minutes by car you can reach Losone, Ascona or Locarno. By public transport bus or Centovalli train (Locarno-Domodossola) Cavigliano is easily accessible. The stops are only a few minutes walk away.
Its convenient location makes it an ideal starting point for excursions in the region with over 160 km of hiking and walking trails. The surrounding area also offers interesting excursions for cyclists and mountain bikers, has unspoiled romantic beaches along the rivers Melezza, Rovana and Maggia and in just a few minutes by car you can reach Locarno and Ascona on Lake Maggiore. In the nearby village of Verscio you will find the world famous Teatro Dimitri with its university for street artists and clowns.
