The residence La Quercia is situated in a quiet position towards the port, close to the golf course. It is ideal for those who are looking for peace and quiet but want to walk to the piazza for a glass of wine or to go shopping without using the car. It is also only a few minutes' walk from the Maggia bank, the golf course and the boat harbour.
From here the cycle path (and footpath) leads past the rice fields and vineyards of the "Terreni di Maggia", along the Maggia River and across the Foce della Maggia nature reserve to Locarno and then along the lakeside promenade to Tenero.
